the V5700 and a few other cards aren't there for same reason. You can choose to stick with the open source drivers, of course. When that happens I'm sure they will post their Linux experience here instead of in the W series forum. Can anyone tell me about the relationship between catalyst 13 and fglrx?

what are the open-source ones your are talking about? Also, the closed-source driver seems to be moving slowly (not yet available for Xorg 7.4).The open source driver I know very well.
