Can you guys think of anything else? Most popular PowerColor Video cards: ATI Radeon HD 3450 AGP, ATI Radeon 9600 PRO, ATI Radeon 9250 128MB, ATI Radeon HD 5600 Series PCI-E, ATI Radeon HD 3650 AGP, ATI Radeon CrimandEvil said: ↑ Did you check Realtek's site for their driver? I am not sure if on the 606 you have has a hdmi per input source on your receiver but mine only has two. So unfortunately until they tell me if they are replacing it or refunding I wont be buying another card. The 3450 has an hdmi slot on it, so I was able to hook it directly to my tv and audio was working and everything. I resintalled the onboard sound drivers and my available sound playback devices are: Speakers, Realtek High Defention Audio, Ready Realtek Digital Output, ltek High Defention Audio, Default Device Neither of them

I might just have to go buy a 4000 series card that actually has an hdmi port on it. No problems if I plug in a DVD player.

Same problem with Arch Linux it seems. But if I plugged it straight into my TV it would work fine. Did you install the ATI audio driver? https://hardforum.com/threads/hd4350-no-hdmi-audio.1493146/ We do not cover any losses spend by its installation.

Thats what raised my suspicion."you can select from the many possible surround modes manually, or engage the Auto Surround feature and let the receiver select the surround mode based on the www.amd-drivers.com Home Radeon Mobility All versions --- AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4350 graphics drivers for Microsoft Windows AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4350 drivers for Windows 7 32bit (3 files) AMD/ATI drivers for Radeon Highly unlikely though.

While I was running windows 7 RC I couldn't for the life of me get the sound to work through HDMI with my denon receiver. Edit: Plugged directly into TV and same problem. I've conected my PC to my Philips TV via HDMI using the graphic card ASUS HD4350. Weird issue.

This happened before I installed the realtek audio too. Page generate time 0.080429 sec. That reminds me, do you think I even need to be running 64 bits for my htpc?

Edit: Absolutely nothing.

I that correct? It worked fine. I guess that is why the product is so inexpensive. This is frustrating, first HDCP and PowerDVD was giving me problems (have to use AnyDVD HD just to watch movies) and now this.

If I get refunded I might just spend the extra $30 and get it. Nov 26, 2008 at 7:58 PM #6 panchoman Sold my stars! I had trouble with my 8200 series mobo at first but I noticed there was a driver update on Win update that fixed my issue. navigate here I have an onkyo 604 and in the settings on it need to basically point to the hdmi audio to the source I want to use.

THX-UltraII16th February 2009, 22:45thxz for your reply tal.aloni! Yes, my password is: Forgot your password? I just bought a 42' LCD and a receiver like 2 weeks ago, maybe I would've bought different ones if i had a clue but I'm pretty happy with what i Ask !

Out of curiosity , I put the dvi to hdmi adapter from a 3870 I had lying around on it and what do you know. EDIT: Also, if you look at the link for the hotfix, you'll see that it's version 8.542 of the driver, not 8.10.
