I was able to reproduce the problem as it crashed for me at the same point in the game (standing by the Whiterun blacksmith). That happened 3 times and the game recovered and continued. actually list the full spec if you can I have a Core i7 930 @2.8 GHz, two Radeon HD 5870's (1GB) in Crossfire, and 6GB of RAM.I'm running the game on have a peek here

Since I bought the steam version I couldnt play more than 30 minutes without the BSOD, I'm hoping its just a version issue and they will fix it soon enough. "Generic" Or any SLI problems in general? The game crashes out every few minutes with no errors even on medium graphics settings. No error messages given. This resolved my crashing issue so I'm up-voting your answer.

Normally, I wouldn't be too alarmed, but 25 hours of problem free gameplay, followed by sudden consistent crashed alarms me.
