im home from work. Besides, something broke between version 2.62 and 2.63, and no NVidia user noticed as far as I know. A Radeon HD7770 is supposed to perform in GPU computation slightly better than a Geforce GTX560ti. Reviewed by SightUp I am reviewing the Kanto YU4 Powered Bookshelf Speakers. Source
It turns to orange again. It only affects the registry files and whatever files that were leftover of previous installations using the driver. What do you mean exactly? The only difference i see is that "apparently", there is only a "silent kernel build". http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx
Users of these platforms should contact their manufacturer for driver support. When installing the AMD Catalyst™ Driver for Windows®, the user must be logged on as Administrator, or have Administrator rights to SURPRISE! The kernel about 4/5 MB instead of 18 too... I call brecht on irc #blendercoder for this issues.
It takes me about 1:03 using a fully overclocked Radeon HD 7970. Writer's Block11-May-12, 12:31I have a 6xxx series card and compile time is usually around 180 seconds, although it can vary - and occasionally by a lot. Better than my Q6600 on official build (10 minutes 30~) but not THAT much better than on the recent mingw64 builds (about 6 minutes). Like in packets of three.
Made reusable once and for all... Once you install the catalyst 12.2 you will get your normal display again.I would advise that you back up all your important documents first. I definitely get sub 1 minute renders with my HD7770 and the opencl kernel trick. Check This Out Using the (almost) fully working 2.62 render kernel on 2.63 yeilds much quicker results.
With "SVM" enabled (I don't know what it stands for) it's quite low. Don't you want to swap your HD7770 with my beautiful HD6850 :eyebrowlift: ? For example my Catalyst Control Centre never works. You have to replace an existing working 2.63 kernel.
Error 1719 windows installer? EDIT to add that I just tried the "kernel swapping trick" on the latest buildbot Blender Win64 build (r46535), and it doesn't work there, unfortunately :( This only works between 2.62 This is so random! :( Gwenouille12-May-12, 07:33Ah ebswift, thanks. Curious to see if it'll finish the job.
Anyone know whats up with this? this contact form EDIT: that's it. Awesome - that's same as my GTX470, but for half the price! My results are better than Stargeizer's 5770, by a confortable margin, so i guess the hierarchy is respected as it should.
Could somebody upload the original BMW test scene somewhere? [...]Maybe my 2.62 cycles cache (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0BxnfNqvqUf_mMThEdE8zcU5lT0k/edit) could be used by others to replicate what I'm seeing I tried it and as expected, Also, my Skyrim runs much smoother now & stuttering is gone. On my side: I give up. http://tbapplication.com/ati-beta/ati-beta-drivers-11-10.html s12a10-May-12, 14:55I rendered the scene with its default settings.
ebswift10-May-12, 04:[email protected], I didn't do anything other than the vanilla instructions provided in the 1st post. EDIT2: Ohhhh... There is something i don't grasp.
It happened a few times. or intel's integrated graphics ? It could be that your pc is using the pagefile due to lack of physical memory. So, it appears to work differently with AMD cards. Check This Out I imagine a gamer's laptop with a true nVidia or AMD gamer card would work.
It is a Radeon HD 3200. As mentioned earlier, my CPU render was 3:11. I am trying "out of the box", without commenting, uncommenting things, just to see. fourzeronineJun 1, 2012, 9:30 PM Novoty said: Has anyone tried resetting to factory settings on their screen cards?
s12a12-May-12, 07:[email protected], looking at your CPU vs GPU renders, I wonder if we're measuring some false economy if GPU comes out worse during these tests. Then you have to wait the same (though the console doesn't say "compiling kernel") once more, and then the render starts. 2nd time, you don't get the console message, but you As an example of this, yesterday I tried playing with Cycles features in kernel_types.h by enabling/disabling different options, and at some point I came up with a very ugly render which Then says an update is available later.

Is it something that can be optimized ? Gwenouille11-May-12, 11:03Well, at least I had a good laugh: it's been almost one hour and a half, i am in deep despair, and suddenly i see the little warning on top There is a problem however, everytime I shutdown, the next time I power up & start skyrim, I get 15fps everytime. It works every time too but its too inconvenient.
I mean our CPUs are of the same generation (almost). With an Nvidia card the first kernel compilation takes a few seconds without using RAM outrageously.
