It might not 'fix' it but it will take it away, if you know what I mean. So far it's been completely error-free on Vista and I've had absolutely zero security problems. Go to http://www.free-av.com/ and click the link for Avira AntiVir PersonalEdition Classic and try it out.

ATI 4379 Serial ATA Controller Before you download this driver: Run a free scan for Windows errors Run a free scan Installing or uninstalling software and making changes to your system I can't guarantee anything, so good luck. I went to system restore to try and get it back to the way it was before messing with that program. DriverGuide maintains an extensive archive of ATI 4379 Serial ATA Controller drivers available for free Download.
At present, it has not appeared since then. Now I get a error message every time I boot up. The log tells me there is a bad driver, though there are not many options.

When I look for the option to choose the driver from a list , the only option that looks right is something called IDE ATA/ATAPI CONTROLLERS. Privacy statement © 2017 Microsoft.
