Thank you. –Ricardo Rodrigues Jun 26 '16 at 16:18 Update: for some reason, now the bluetooth works but it does not detect any devices. I've been without Bluetooth for such a long time. Let's check data length against the buffer size before attempting to copy data over. also I'd like to say a very big thank you, as I have posted about this problem on many forums and you have been the only one to help.

The "firmware loading failed" problem should be fixed by ar3011 dkms package, but it seems not work for you. It looks like you suffer the same bug I do, have a look at:https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/40902https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=73981Patching the kernel results a in working system with bluetooth. In-kernel users normally just send as much data as report needs, so there is no problem, but hidraw users can do whatever they please: BUG: KASAN: slab-out-of-bounds in memcpy+0x34/0x54 at addr I followed what you said to do to the letter and these are what I ended up with Ray Whatman (roo79x) wrote on 2012-02-08: #15 lsusb-1.log Edit (580 bytes, text/plain) lsusb-1.log
